This site was developed to track the progress of a Father / Daughter project

In March of  2009 we were told about a 1977 El Camino that was for sale at a tractor dealership in Wills Point Texas. We drove up to see it on a Sunday, but the dealership was closed so we could only see the car through a chain link fence. Sierra saw the car and we determined that day, this was the car for our project. The next week, Sierras Grandfather went and test drove the car and find out more about the car. It was a one owner car from New Mexico with less than 98000 miles on the car. The car was rough. The front needs work, the back needs work, the bed is rusted through, the paint is peeling, the engine ran but not real well. All in all this would be a great project vehicle for us to do. May 8th 2009 the el camino came to us on a trailer and the real work began.
